Amar Timalsina is a leading advocate for people affected by leprosy in Nepal. Friends of the Leprosy Mission in South Africa have generously supported Amar’s work in recent years. He met with the Nepalese Prime Minister a few days ago in preparation for the Nepalese National Leprosy conference, which will be held from 8th – 9th May 2025. Amar is thrilled to announce that the Prime Minister will grace the opening session of this significant event as the Chief Guest at the conference. His presence at the conference will do much to address the stigma surrounding leprosy.
