To celebrate the return of The Leprosy Mission’s Wellesley Bailey Awards and our 150th anniversary year, our judges have chosen four winners whose work in the fight against leprosy deserves recognition. Maya Ranavare from India is one of these deserving winners.
In honour of our 150th anniversary year, the judges have granted a Wellesley Bailey award to four winners whose tireless work has furthered the cause of leprosy patients around the world. One of these winners is Sandra Dongo Botolo from the Democratic Republic of Congo.
With 2024 being our 150th anniversary year, the judges decided to grant a Wellesley Bailey award to four remarkable winners. One of these winners is U Soe Win from Myanmar, whose tireless advocacy and leadership are an inspiration to us all.
