In celebration of The Leprosy Mission’s 150th anniversary year, our Wellesley Bailey Awards judges decided to name four winners of the award in 2024. One of these remarkable winners is Md. Kamal Uddin, who has overcome many hardships and is now an inspiration to others.

To celebrate the return of The Leprosy Mission’s Wellesley Bailey Awards and our 150th anniversary year, our judges have chosen four winners whose work in the fight against leprosy deserves recognition. Maya Ranavare from India is one of these deserving winners.
